The Panton One was Verner Panton's first chair design and was created in 1955. Already here, much of what would shape his later work is evident: a clear, light construction, graphic lines, and an experimental approach to materials.
The seat and backrest are hand-woven with cords, making the chair pleasantly flexible despite its minimalist construction. The slender stainless steel sled base emphasizes its light expression. The Panton One can also be stacked up to ten chairs high, making it equally suitable for private dining tables, conference rooms, or contract environments.
Note:
This is a piece of furniture from the current or a previous exhibition and is only available once. Minor signs of wear may be present, but there are no major defects.
