The Pelagus Lounge Chair was designed by Note Design Studio for Fritz Hansen's Skagerak Collection. The series was inspired by the Stockholm archipelago, with its combination of water, nature, and an uncomplicated outdoor life.

The lounge chair combines a frame of solid, untreated teak wood with a light covering of weather-resistant sling fabric. The slightly reclined seating position is designed for relaxed sitting, while the wide armrests offer enough space for a glass or a book.

The teak wood can be used outdoors untreated and develops a natural silver-grey patina over time. The textile covering gives the classic wooden frame a lighter, contemporary expression and simultaneously ensures comfortable seating.
