The Embrace Outdoor Lounge was developed by the Viennese design studio EOOS for Carl Hansen & Søn. The modular system transfers the comfort of a classic sofa to the outdoors, combining different materials in a way typical of the Embrace collection.

The frame is made from solid, untreated FSC™-certified teak. Over time, the wood develops a natural silver-grey patina outdoors. The back and side rests made of hand-woven flax rope give the construction a lighter expression and form the frame for the generous, weather-resistant upholstery.

The combination consists of two different modules. E520 integrates a fixed teak side table next to the seat, while E541 creates a sheltered lounge area with an additional side armrest. Together, they form an open, flexibly usable outdoor lounge with generous seating and reclining areas.

All seat and back cushions are made of quick-drying foam and can be removed for cleaning or storage. The modular principle also allows the lounge to be supplemented later with other elements from the Embrace Outdoor series.

This is a piece of furniture from the current or a previous exhibition and is only available once. Minor signs of wear may be present, but there are no major defects.
